| Reducing Infant
Mortality
Pakistan ranks worst than
Sudan, Burma, Bangladesh, and India, when it comes to infant
mortality. With 92 deaths for every 1,000 live births,
Pakistan is significantly worst than the world average (60 deaths
for every 1,000 live births). And one in every 38 women die due to
pregnancy related causes.
Our aim is to reduce
infant mortality by establishing
charity programs in the area of healthcare, nutrition, and vaccinations.

In a recent project we established a
complete maternity ward at Abdus Samad Memorial Hospital in
Karachi at Liaqatabad #10. We purchased necessary medical
equipment, including beds, delivery room bed, surgical
equipment, post natal care equipment and the hiring of medical
doctors, nurses and supplementary staff, all to establish a
maternity ward serving the very poor. This charity project will help
reduce infant mortality during baby delivery.
